When we started TGG, giving to charity was a core ideal we wanted to realise. Both of us have been life-long musicians and have witnessed many times the power music has to inspire and heal. We wanted to make sure we were able to support music based charities, and it is with great pleasure that we will be working with the fantastic music therapy charity, Nordoff-Robbins.
We are incredibly proud to team up with Alvarez Guitars who have generously donated our prize. This exciting collaboration will ensure that all proceeds go directly to Nordoff-Robbins.
The MD60CESHB is beautiful and powerful yet understated, with clean lines and minimal decoration. This design language allows the AAA solid Sitka top to take centre stage, shimmering under a flawless Shadowburst gloss.
Sonically, this guitar is everything you would except from an all-solid Dreadnought body. It has been designed to achieve an open projection, instant response and broad tonal palette. Bass frequencies are clear and robust, and the marriage of Sitka and mahogany deliver strong woody mids and sparkling trebles.
The MD60CESHB is made with a cutaway to allow access to higher frets and is fitted with the excellent LR Baggs VTC system with Element pickup and soundhole console.

From their website:
'We are the UK’s largest music therapy charity.
Beginning with the pioneering work of pianist Paul Nordoff and special education teacher Clive Robbins 50 years ago, we are dedicated to bringing high quality music therapy to as many people as possible.'
'At Nordoff Robbins, we stand for music and believe in the value of music for all people in our society. Our vision is to live in a world where through music therapy, human potential is recognised regardless of profound disability, illness or social exclusion.'
